Which fuel type do you use

Just filled up using Shell v-power what a difference,much smoother and showes better fuel consumption.this is on 2010adv only has 500miles on it.
Only got it yesterday handbook recomends 98.but can use 95 with power restrictions.Anybody noticed this.

My 08 GSA shows absolutely not performance difference and if anything slightly less mpg especially when extra price is considered. I had an 05 K1200s this too showed no noticeable difference except price.

is the IOW big enough to get the bike on full throttle?

I will be using 97/98/99 RON on my new bike cas the manual says it goes slower and does fewer miles if one uses cheapo 95RON stuff.

I use unleaded petrol, Does it really matter though?

I had terrible fuel economy today though, only got aound 160 miles from full to empty, mind I was wringing the neck off it, couldn't get passed 3rd gear due to the miles of smiles.

Poor dirty thing did get a bit punished today

It only matters on the latest GSes the ones with the new engine.

I WOULD use 98 RON if I could find it near me. All the stations that have super unleaded in my area (BP and Total) are only 97RON
The only place that does higher is the Shell garage in Sheffield that does V-Power, but I'm not treking across to Sheffield everytime I want petrol
