Hello fountains of all knowledge.
Whilst attending the HU Meeting in Germany earlier this year
, we were given a workshop by the owner of the new T.T. shop in N.Germany. One of his ideas really struck home- having a basic GPS mounted "always on" on the bike to act as a track logger. He recommended a Legend or Vista HCx.
Ive seen the latest model for £126 inc post, but you can find the previous model (without the little joy stick thingy) considerably cheaper. Both have the high sensitivity chipset and 10,000 point track log, expandable memory, additional map capability, etc.
So the question is "Would i be paying the extra for what is essentially a cosmetic upgrade, or have i mssed the point entirely"?
I sit back in anticipation of learning something.
