which genuine panniers for a r1150r ?

We have just got the 2004 r1150r and am looking panniers

what system panniers fit straight on to the r1150r ?

I think 1100 and 1150 GS fit

Do 1100 RT ones fit ?

If anyone has a set in Northern Ireland I would be interested

Sods law I had a 1150gs a few years ago and had 2 sets of panniers, when I went to sell them I could barely give them away.

I will post a wanted ad in the sales section

R850, R1100, R1150, R and GS models will fit, you may need a different foot plate mount

Only differences being that RS and RT models had a lower exhaust and a larger Left side pannier

If you need a hand to rekey them to your ignition I have quite a collection of Wafers etc

It wasn't my link and I was being very dry about the description... I like system panniers and have had loads... The LHS being smaller is sometimes a bit of a PIA but I've usually had a decent topbox... I've hardly ridden a suitable bike without them and BM suspension is obviously designed to cope with them so it often works better... As I use my bikes for all sorts of riding, their usefulness far outweighs any issues with them being on...

I have a pair of system GS panniers I could be persuaded to part with. In Co Limerick. They'd have to be collected though.
