Which Givi topbox?

I was after a box and found this one on ebay, I think its an E45, was a bargain

have now modified the adaptor plate so I can keep my grabrail on aswell, everyone is now happy.

Anyone has experience with newest Givi Maxia 55 liters ?

Plan to buy Maxia, but still reconsidering 52 or 55 liters.

I bought one for my 2007 1200GSA earlier this year. I had never used this type of luggage before and found it very good when I toured the Pyrenees in July.

Plenty of room and didn't notice it was there in all honesty.

All in all I would say it is a good buy. I leave it on all the time now even if I have no reason to use it.

It's much more useful then original BMW top case that have no space for helmet, gloves and rain suite.

Also, did you use standard Givi E250 mounting plate for Maxia ?

Yes I think that was the plate I used. Just a very simple plastic plate which bolts to the existing rack using some small pressed metal brackets. Seems to hold it secure enough.

As I said I have found it to be very good, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Thanks much, it must be then Givi E 250 standard mounting plate. Have one Maxia on old good Tenere, and it's really much better then BMW original aluminium topbox.
