Which Glue to Fix a Vario Pannier?

Has anyone successfully bonded broken plastic bits on an 800 Vario pannier? After an encounter with a careless reversing Frenchman I need to do a repair. I get the feeling that it's ABS and wondered if anyone had any top tips on adhesives.

I've used this on my Dominator plastics and it worked brilliantly

I've always been a fan of Araldite - especially where you have an uneven break. It is one of the few glues that is heat proof to very high (engine) temperatures.
