Hi,
When I did my 3 week Morocco tour on my 2011 GSA in October I took a chance and went in my open face helmet rather than my flip front one.
It was the right choice in the end.
However in rain it is very difficult to see with sunglasses, even the clear ones that I have as rain pours down the back into your eyes.
So with this in mind I purchased a set of cheap yellow tint goggles off ebay. When the arrived I could see they were cheap.
Anyway my questions are, which are the best goggles to buy????
And secondly how do you stop the goggles strap sliding up the back of the helmet when you are not wearing them and have them lifted up resting on the front of the helmet, the strap seems to slim up easily, nothing to ratain it in place at the back, what methods have you used ????:)

Buy a BMW flip front crash helmet. You can convert it to an open face, plus the kit comes with an open face flip up visor . ;)

Wot Johhny said!
(Other proprietary brands are available, Oakley, ProGrip etc)
If you don't like the Quik Strap idea (available at Adventure bike warehouse, to which I have no connection) then you can put the goggles on the helmet back to front, and tuck the strap up under the peak.

..or instead of resting the goggles on the top of the helmet, pull 'em down around the neck. you'll look just like steve mqueen :cool

on a more serious note: a rubberised strap helps.

also i have bought very nice ex uk forces scott goggles on ebay for a few quid. brand new and in super cool black frame and black strap unavailable to civvy shoppers :thumb2

Oakley Mayhem googles are what I use and are by far the best used to date.

I use them with quick straps which again are excellent, only used them a couple of times now but wish I'd got them sooner.
