I'm deliberating between Destinator or TomTom both v3. In order of preference i require;

1. best european maps
2. routing capabilities
3. poi support

I'll have a 2gb card for maps.

I have just upgraded from TomTom 3 to TomTom 5 and it is much faster and a lot better than the old version. Used on an Ipaq 2210, it came with full european maps on 8 Cds and should fit on a 2Gb card HTH

I have Tom Tom 5 on an IPAQ 2210. With all the European maps in plus mode (allows inter country routing) and post codes for UK and Benelux it takes up 1977mb on the CF card.
It's the muts nuts.
I also run Fugawi on another CF card for waypoint routing on OS maps.

Thanks I've gone for TomTom. Might splash out for a 4GB card. It's xmas :)
