Well one of these has to go to make way for 'something else'.

Is it to be the almost mint super reliable, 8k mile 650 dakar with ABS , heated grips, Remus, Renthal bars etc etc

OR GSPD which puts smile on my face :nenau :confused:

I had the same problem - but with a standard R100 and an 1150. The 1150 has everything - BTBR lights, big boxes, heated grips, blah blah blah.

But I sold the airhead - and I've regretted it ever since.

Keep the bike that makes you smile (or sell it to me... :D )

Sell the F650 to Tina;
that way you keep it in the family!
And if she learn to ride it she can show Knut and me the best part of Northern Wales in July! :bounce1

:) Liv.

Without question sell the F650, it lacks the soul of the Airhead.

Er-hemm!!!

The Airhead's really are something special, my folks have had them for over 20 years, I love them. After riding the F650 I realised it's no different to a Honda Dominator, not so cheap but cheerful.

I was tempted to swap the 1100 for a smaller bike, I realised the only move I would make would be to an Airhead.

Get a Bigger Garage,
I've had the same predicament a few times.
I sold a DBD32 Goldie to get married in 1969, split in 1971 :( . should have kept the bike :D
since then i've only sold the Bikes I don't like, or have duplicates of.
Thats why i've still got>R60/6, R26, R80g/s :D :thumb R90/s :beerjug: and a R80/7. all bought since 1972 { when I met my present more bike friendly wife :bounce1 }
when buying a bike, I consider it's dead money, I never even think of what it's Part ex or Sale value is, if I want another, I buy it :), IF I Can Afford it :mmmm if not I drool and save till I can. :)

That might be correct - I don't know. :)
But the F650 do not harm the soul of the airhead! :eek: ;)

The 650 GS got a Chain!!!
something no self respecting Beemer would Ever have :nono
...perhaps I agree...
But a belt is 100% OK for a Beemer! :D Like my CS! ;)

:D Liv.

Bring the airhead over to Belgium and I'll guard it for you.

I'll even take it for a ride every now and then :D

Then if you change your mind you can come and get it back.

Cheers,
Michel

Got the 'something else' cheap and cheerful MUCH better than Dakar 650 offroad :thumb
