I've always used IE as it's the kind of de-facto standard I guess. I find that IE9 keeps going slow and 'not reponding' though. I've toyed with Chrome and Firefox but after IE, I guess you need time to get used to them. Any recommendations or can you fix IE9?

Give Firefox a go. I use it at home and "have" to use chrome at work. I prefer Firefox and its great once you get it to look the way you want. Loads of customisable apps and add ons etc:blagblah

Hope this helps.:beerjug:

I also prefer IE9 over FF (and have both installed) , the ie9 issues I've seen (site not responding) seem to be mostly in displaying "in page" ad banners so I've used the ie9 tracking protection feature and this list http://www.privacychoice.org/trackerblock/ie9 , I chose block all .
It works on most of the sites I've had issues with though it would appear some are not yet listed (a photo hosting site just gave me a not responding fault) .
Not sure why ie9 has a problem but could be related to AD banner sites trying to do stuff with cookies that IE9 is preventing from happening.. etc

I am told by people in the know that "IE9" is currently the fastest.

I am still using "Firefox", but it is no where near as good as it used to be.

I reckon if I could be bothered to change "Chrome" is the way to go

I currently use FF but of late (a week or more) it refuses to open ALL You Tube vids and constantly gives an error message. I then open Safari and no probs whatsoever and a whole lot faster too!

It's a lottery...

I'e been using Firefox for some time but when I bought a new laptop with Win7 I wasn't too happy with it. I've moved across to Chrome and so far so good.

I've been trying Chrome. I find if I zoom a page, it goes back when I go to the next page. How do I stop that happening?

Love chrome, especially the sync so that add a favourite on laptop and it gets added to desktop
