Which laptop bag will just fit inside Panniers?

Can anyone tell me who makes laptop bags that "just" fit in standard 1200GS panniers / top box?

I am fed up with strapping my laptop to the rear seat and want to fit it in the panniers / top box.

The bag must be reasonably smart for when I walk into a sales meeting.

My laptop is a 14" Toshiba with external Dimensions of 31 x 26 x 3.5 cm but I also need to carry lots of bits & pieces so a "sleeve" is not going to work.

Any ideas welcome.

The size the pannier's are - i'd say just about all of em would fit in.

I use a laptop rucksack made by 'case LOGIC'. It seems to do a reasonable job of carrying around everything I need and is flexible enough to be encouraged into the standard top box.

PC World supplied this one if I remember rightly...

Lap top case

The Samsonite L35 fits (just - tight squeez) in the top box or pannier when it is extended. Try Ebay.

Is the L35 a soft case or does it have a rigid inner frame?

Its soft, I should have called it a bag not a case, still good at protecting my Acer in the pannier. My brother got it in the states, never saw it stocked in this side of the Atlantic pond.

I use an'Antler' case...sort of semi rigid with a nice solid handle and a fair few pockets /a4 sleeves inside.....plenty of room for the laptop plus mouse, power pack/leads and some bits and bobs...it fits snugly inside a Givi top box and gets lost inside my Vernatechs but I don't know about standard paniers I'm afraid.

Recommended as a case though
