Too much??
How many bike's have you again?
Not that many really, besides, that's not the point. :augie

When are ya getting that DRZ all dirty. :nenau

About time you took us all out for a spin. :green gri

And that was the right choice, forget ego, power and bling when buying your first couple of trail bikes. Find something reliable, easy to handle etc. but very capable, then learn to ride it.
I find that there's enough power in it to get you into trouble. To date I've only used the TTR once in anger (at the Red Kite Rally) and it performed very well - until I crashed it. :o

Anyone give me some advice on what bike would be a good one for someone (me)who is relatively new to off roading/green lanes. In recent years most of my riding has been on the road, but i am after something i can use for fun at weekends and perhaps occasionally on the road during the week.

cheers

As well as all the other bikes mentioned, have a look at the Beta Alp 4.0.
It uses the DR350 engine, which is good and reliable and is relatively low so its easy to get your feet/foot to the ground.

A friend of mine in Cheltenham has had one for the last few years and says its great both on and off road.

Have a chat with BVM in Stroud, they often have them in stock.

Good luck and have fun,

Ian :thumb2
