My 2003 1150 gs 28.000 miles just came back from Italy so reliable enough.

Been offered £4800 against a 2005 8000 mile fully loaded with full alli luggage 1150 ADV. which is up at £8795 obviously years warrenty.

£4500 against a new standard 1200 £1000 discount so £9285 with ABS Heated Grips Computor Chrome exhaust as extras so will need a set of panniers..

Surely the 1200 makes sense can't run to a 1200 adv also only 29 inside leg & the adv has the lower seat with it.

advice please guess it's been asked so many times before.

You have asked for advice - so..........

Go with your instinct - both are great bikes and if your legs are too short, nowt much you can do, but there are plenty of low seats for the 12.

You will make the right choice I am sure and g'luck.

A bit more money but the 1200 will be NEW and carry an extra years warrenty (which many people on here will say is needed). The 1200 deal is about the same as my deal was. I had those extras and clear indicators for that money back in June. 1200 is good but check the vibes 4-5000 rpm
