I've been looking at fork springs too, hagon springs are 85 ukp and have a rating of 5.2 to 6.5 and hyper-pro are 120 ukp and 4.6 to 6.6 so I've got a set of the hagons but not fitted them yet
if it helps i think the standard springs are 5.0 but not totally sure. Hagon reckon their springs are for a 12-14 st rider and as i am above that i think i should be fine
Had the hagon springs fitted by a local suspension specialist and was glad I did as he had to do some minor machining to stop some chaffing. On first short test ride the bike feels more stable, higher in front and more positive in steering but also more vibey on the road will be playing with the comp and rebound over the next few weeks.
Interestingly he said if I had spoken to him first he would have recommended staying with linear springs and playing with with oil weights and air gaps to get the required performance as its more predictable. Also interesting was that the oneside adjustment is also not uncommon as it all works as a unit and when tuning suspension they'll even use different weight oils in each leg to get the right set up.
