Which to keep ? 1100 or GS P/D

If it was this one it's sold and it was a good clean bike.

I'm still on holidays if ya want a spin on the small bike before the weekend,
I'd like to still take the GS out if ye want to join me on the Serow ?

That was it. Feck. Ah well, I'll keep looking.

+ 1 for another PRC !!!!!

Right so, if the PRC Reci BIG Bike spin is to run in the coming weeks then It looks
like it'll be a biannual event. :JB Ger, how does the last weekend in January sound ?

We can have a DRz/Serow day in the meantime.

Waaaay lighter, the front end was off EBay in the UK so I still have my own DRz. :thumb2
D'ye fancy a spin out on the big bikes again, I'm itchin to get out and try the HP1?
Defo on for a big bike outing again, may have to sort my clutch first, which leads me nicely on to... Did u get my txt looking for that guys number:-)

I don't mind big or small bike run great too. The DR is ready for action too!!
Any Jan weekend be grand.

Well, the weekend of the 21st/22nd suits and sure why wait.......:JB

I have both yer numbers and we'll sort out a starting point, I have a lot more tracks we didn't get the chance to do the last time. :bounce1
I'm fairly sure Dave will be available to lead some of the run too.:clap

The only stipulation is big bikes only. :eek No feckin Serows. :rob

PS: Obviously this is subject to Kami's availability, roll on the 21st ! :thumb

I'd had a notion I'd like disk brakes on the back and I wanted to keep as much Paris Dakar stuff safe while I
used this bike for trail riding. I picked up a K1 final drive which pushes the wheel 20 mm over to the left, the
next step is to offset the spokes, this is the way it's looking now.

I've used the Rubber Chicken phosphor bronze bushings instead of bearings for the pivots and phased the
driveshaft.

All I need now is a 18" tubeless rim, they were fitted to the front of the R100R or one of the UK police R1100RT
front rims would do which will fit widthways but allow proper offroad tyres.. anyone got an 18" rim fired in a
shed somewhere ?

Really miss not havin this thing goin, the DRZ just ain't the same.

I just put new rear shoes into the airhead and now I can lock up the rear on tarmac at about 30....granted i'm almost standing up by that stage but it does work.
Hope you're gonna take that yellow paint of the thing

When's the next PRC Reci...???

I suppose I should have started a thread on this, anyway...

I brought the Mongrel out on the PrePRC Reci reci and it behaved brilliantly with no glitches.

This is the best thing I could have done with the bike, massive bottom end, plenty
of grip, infinitely better suspension and brakes that work even when wet.

There's a few of us heading out to the same place on the 30th and I hope to test it
a little more, but so far so good.

I'm happy with how the sidestand worked out..........

and rear brake but I'd like to upgrade the rear shock.

There are another few things I want to do to it, with the centre stand gone I want to replace the collector box with a y-piece and extend the bash plate.

That's it..............
