I want to undo the rear breaks caliper on a 2005 1200GS.

I bought an "entry level price" torx tool size 40, but the fit seems a bit loose

The bolt will not move and I don't want to force on it.

Can you confirm 40 is the right size. What tools do you use ?

Txs

It's torx size 45. The tightening torque should be 30Nm as far as I remember.

All the brake calipers use a size 45, as does the front spindle clamp. The rear wheel bolts are size 50. The brake pad retaining pins in the front calipers are size 30. Hope that helps :)

yep, just got a facom 45 torx
on to my next project !!!
