Hi there all you good people, fairly new to the gs club well i picked my 1100 up christmas eve .
Now stripping down and giving it a general tidy up and a good service.
my first issue is tyres which blooming ones to go for at the moment it has a brand new brid stone tw on the front and a worn up enduro on the rear .
on my vfr i had brids on never realy liked them on the tl i had dunlops found them good.
So the type of riding i will be doing is going to be i would say permantly on the black stuff any advice please i like a tyre thats good in the wet on the twisty stuff but with a fair life to it .
Second question i have a medion sat nav mounted on the bike at the moment it is running from the out put socket via a cig plug anyone tell me where i can hard wire it in or put another socket on the tank is of at the moment so didnt know if there are any suitible points near there.
I have an optimate charger is it correct that you can charge the battery via the out put socket.
Many thanks for your help Adam

Hi and welcome.

1) Tourances. Nothing much else comes close for all round use and longevity. Sherlocks do 'em for £150 a pair I believe.

2) Bang a spare socket on the beak to power up handhelds and such like. The GSA comes with one there as standard !

3) You certainly can charge through the socket, no worries.

Apart from Pirelli MT90 Scorpions....which I prefer.
