Which Wire is Live?

07 1200GSA - underseat auxilliary socket has two wires:

1. Red & Green Striped

2. Brown

Can't see which one goes to the central terminal of the socket (normally live). I want to take a live feed for my Autocom from this socket and need to know which is which. Trying to avoid having to find my multimeter!

Have a search over on the bike comms section. GSRich has just summarised the wiring for different mikes within the last few weeks.

Actually, looks like Brown goes to the -ve terminal, so live is Red/Green - controlled by the Canbus box/brain thingy.

I think it's the red one, but why not get the multimeter out just in case your bike's different?

Thanks John - I've found the answer after searching and reading umpteen threads. The Red/Green is the LIVE and the Brown is the GROUND.
