whine at 2k to 3k revs

On my 03 1150 adv I seem to get a loud whine from the lefthand side of the bike at 2000 to 3000 revs. Its very annoying but seems to go once over 3000. Perhaps its still there but cant heard it due to speed increase?

Anything to worry about or is it just me
