White GSA lc

thinking of having the silver section on the tank wrapped black , do you think it would be too much ?

Hi DC,

I saw a black tank on an image of The Nutty GSER's bike and he kindly told me how/where he'd done his/got it from. I ordered same ones and I have just received them today. My bike is a White GSA same as yours. I will take a before and after image and post them so you can throw that option into the pot to consider as well!

Love the Tinted Screen / Winglets which will be another add on for me soon too. Does your Top Box accommodate a helmet or is it too small?

Cheers Jonno

Hi Jonno, look forward to the before and after pics, Yes Ive seen nuttys bike in the pics the black works very well on blue, just not seen it on white, so looking forward to yours

The rear box is the std BMW one just wrapped in matt black, Yes it takes a full face helmet easy enough .

JIm .looks good , thank you …on another note what are the "extra lights " on the front? are these wired in separate or use come on with the std spots ,?

They are Clearwater Ericas, connected with the CANopener, and controlled with the turn signal switch and wonderwheel. They are dimable and go full bright with the bights and the horn.

Hope the filing cabinets don't leak !!

In a recent Ride mag (UK bike mag test) they came out very poorly as they leaked badly.

I've had three sets with no leak issues. I have installed dozens of sets with one leaker. Changed the seal and adjusted the tension and all was well.

If it is anything like other tests I have seen, they used high pressure sprayers to test them. Not a realistic test.

The top box looks good. Where did you get that done?

Nutty, if you don't want to do the wrapping yourself try Boss Dog in Dorking.....something as easy (for them) as this would take no time.....have used them for vans and rally cross cars....very good but will do small jobs on a Saturday morning.

Cheers

Yep, I've used them before on another bike a couple of years ago.:thumb
