White lenses v LED's

Did any of you opt for LED's instead of plain indicators? Any advantages or disadvantages?

Any info would be good.

LED's have an attention getting "snap" ( for want of a better word) to their cycle....

LED ones came fitted to my 650 twin, probably get 0.001 mph extra top speed and 0.004 extra mpg as they're smaller than the bulb ones.

Use less power too, so more extra speed and less fuel used

Much brighter when you're looking at them directly - it would be hard for a car driver to say he didn't see you indicating

Not so sure of the side view though - is this important???
