It's not straight, against the top edge of the beak

Of course if it was aligned to the top edge it would be out against the bottom edge, they appear not to be parallel.

Parallel top and bottom has nothing to do with, just pick one for reference
BUT you should use either or and it appears the operator has used neither

I think it looks pretty good actually. The beak is a tad bland and some graphics don't harm.
I want some black work on mine to mean it up a bit, probably a black Dakar Man logo or similar.

Same design but in Blue, pic taken without flash, both in reflective vinyl, in the OP's pic the reflective vinyl is doing it's stuff reflecting light possibly from camera flash making the Red appear Orange.
