This will be the first crimob I've been home in at least seven years- cannae remember exactly..

Plan is:

Get up sometime in the morning and open prezzies

Get outside a large cooked breakfast

Depending on the weather go surfing, windsurfing, mountain biking, walking or a ride out on the GS's

Home to eat, drink and be merry.

Have a good one:beerjug:

always have my kids on boxing day (part time dad), so we have oor xmas then. On the 25th, oot visitin on bikes if weathers no too bad, then to friends where we're havin chinese takeout, then a wee drinky or two :beerjug:

Getting up and downstairs to open pressies.
Go to work.
Back in time for late lunch - c13.30/14.00, of bacon butties.
Reinspect pressies.
Check out weans pressies.
Put up with bull from rest of family who have come to visit.
Settle down and wait for command to help in kitchen.
Enjoy Christmas roast - f-i-l does not like turkey:blast
Eat, drink, and be slightly merry - hopefully - but not too embarrasing.
Take pup for quiet walk around the block.
Home and Reinspect rubbish pressies, and break the really bad ones, or work out who could get the garrish slippers or tie or jumper next year & wrap up carefully to protect it with note of who it came from.
Watch a film, DVD, take son to wherever he needs to go probably about 23.00. Back and have another cup of tea and then bed.
So nothing much really...:beerjug:

Lookin forward to the kid's coming home for Christmas, not seen my daughter in aboot 6 months.

Is that a SA thing then? They do the opening of prezzies on Christmas Eve in Germany too. I've only spent one Xmas there.

I thought it was horrible (the prezzie opening bit). It made Christmas day seem like oor Boxing day.

yeah it is....but it just means that you get your presents quicker, then off to bed, wake up in the morning have a nice cooked breakfast and everybody gets to spend the day relaxing, suppose it's what you're used to.....the other thing, is that is SA at Xmas, the Sun would be shining and folks would be heading for the beach.....:D

Whit's the plans this year then?

On Xmas Eve I'll go ice skating with Skye at George Square (one year it snowed and it was a brilliant atmosphere) then back home and sort out Santa's drink and cookies. Then I'll try and get Skye settled for the night :angel Once she is asleep :augie I'll get the pressies out of all their hiding places and set them up in the livingroom.

Skye's Mum comes round early on Xmas morning and we will then open the pressies. Ex Outlaws will then arrive with more stuff for Skye to leave around the house :blast :rob

Usually go up to Ex Outlaws for Xmas dinner and watch some telly with a wee drink here and there. Nothing planned for Boxing day so aim to play with all the stuff I got Skye for Xmas  Might try and get out a run over the weekend as I have enjoyed a few short runs on the bike in the last few days.

After the weekend I'll be down in London for a few days over the New Year. All 13 of my family will be meeting up from around the UK, so will be nice to catch up.

Hope everybody has a Great Xmas.

At the moment no plans as this is the first year it will be just Carolyn and me.

So, to all Tossers, their families, pets and bikes :D

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.:thumb

Down in Glasgow, family affairs

Will involve a wee bevvy tonight.

And every other night I imagine :augie

Have a good one, and a few cold ones :beerjug:
