Who’s ordered one ?

No they wont fit .....

Have you tried? I have to drop mine over next week. They are convinced they will but obviously the disks will need to be swapped across as they are 310mm.

From what I have heard the spindle size is different . May be wrong tho which would mean my spokes would fit , but Im sure I heard they are different .

Rear hub looks totally different to me and the from forks are way bigger, be very surprised if they fit, and with them saying 99% of the bike is new it’s unlikely that the 1% is the wheels

Reggie , maybe M9RR on the current rims will give you the answer , this is the way im going.

The only real-world limitations to the BMW's cornering ability are the Metzeler Tourance Next 2 tyres. I had to remind myself that this is an adventure bike on touring rubber designed for mileage and all-around grip, and not a big supermoto. A 1300 GS on stickier rubber would be an absolute weapon in the right hands. Be warned sports bike fans, don’t take on GS thinking it’s an easy win.

REggie they wont fit as bearing and axles sizes are different...I think if I remember right 10 mm bigger...Wait for the M1300GS done right from the factory...Should have more power as it will be a M model and hopefully bigger tank too...LOL

I am now following the same logic, as a fan of ‘the idea’ of 17” front wheel…I have been looking at options for my existing bike (Rallye 1250) The best imo is the Oz conversion, which will allow a 180 section rear without any further changes.

Thing is though, the 1250 on good rubber is pretty handy in the corners already. If the reviews and BMW are to be believed the 1300 is improved…so the answer is the 1300 with standard ** wheels and the right tyres. The right tyres being Conti/Michelin for road work/touring and maybe the M9rr, when mileage is not a concern.

** So…BMW list forged enduro wheels, with a significant weight saving. Is this not the best option if wanting the sharpest ride? And what about the sport suspension?

Went for a test ride today, with wifey on the back, was fully expecting to order a triple black, but I didn’t

I ordered a Trophy instead :D

managed to try it with vario boxes on, important for wifey as she likes to be able to move her feet around on the pegs, not as much room as with touratech boxes but acceptable so got a pair of them, the arse end will look better without scaffolding (y)

got plenty of stuff on it, I guess what you’d call TE spec in UK, leccy screen, heated seats, uppy/downy suspension etc. just not the radar (hate them) or funky headlight

got a reasonable price for my 1200 and also got over a grand knocked off and some free cylinder head guards

all in the deal was over 2300 euros better in St Etienne than in Clermont ! It pays to shop around and buy at the end of the month :nod

happy bunny here :bounce1

Wow didn't think they'd be doing deals

I spoke to Bhanstormer today - no TE spec anymore / just pick your base bike and add “packs” colours being packs too

Base bike White plus packs or Trophy, Green thing, triple black - all come with pack variants as standard

Then add more packs

Bhanstormer said spec the bike and delivery currently 5-6 weeks..

Then packs on packs - like the Dynamic Suspension - then add the variable ride height pack……

It’s a proper pic n mix

All those packs will be worth close to fcuk all come trade in too. 5-6 weeks..... I ordered my 1250RS at the end of June and it's been held up at the factory in Quality Control since early Sepember with no explination as to why or when I'll get it. Bastards

Cos they is building GS’ ain’t it..😂

You can spec the TE on the config and then add the packs you want, only possible issue is ordering the engine bars without ordering the enduro pack.I test ride a TE and there are some on Autotrader already.£22,000 for the Trophy and the spec I want ,no radar or any luggage add another £1800 for the luggage

I wanted a plain white with forged wheels and the indicators moved and off road tyres, but couldn’t seem to get that

Hate to be pedantic but TE as a spec is not available… you pick one of four start points and add packs.

Base
Trophy
Triple Black
719 ( green thing)

Then add packs…. One being the Dynamic suspension.. etc..
