So the scots nats have swept the board in your elections the Tories have not held any mandate in Scotland since thatcher's day and probably never will again the Lib dems are a joke willing to get into bed with anyone at any time at any price after all they have been noshing the tory govt for the past year but i am wondering why the big transfer from the labour party,
now if there is a referendum on full independence which way do you think it will go?

but i am wondering why the big transfer from the labour party,
?

So long in power they got complacent and more than a touch corrupt...

Independence vote? Right now I'd vote for that just to distance us from the southern moaners who seem to believe the nonsense that they're funding our swish lifestyles. But who inexplicably don't want us to break up the Union!

F'kwits!:D

'Independence vote'

Just that.
My thoughts, are that if Independence does happen we would most certainly in time, see the creation of other 'political parties' e.g. Labour/Liberal/Conservative maybe even Democrats or Republican within that Independence, just as we have at present.
Some will even fight for the return to being subservient to Westminster (that is IF England would want us back!) :rob

United Kingdoms (plural) rather than the United Kingdom (singular). The Union of the Crowns, 1603, makes this absolutely the law of the land. The Treaty of Union, 1707, recognises this further.
UK army no the British army, the Westminster parliament not the British parliament, Olympic team of the United Kingdoms not the British Olympic Team etc.

You can be absolutely certain that if Scotland cost England money maintain then we would have been dumped years ago.
It's high time we kept our own earnings and let England survive as best they can.:comfort

yes Johnny.......

I too have always used the plural term - Kingdoms :flag

Give us the chance to go it alone.
We'll need to wheedle out the dole dodgers and sick note brigade

AND

make it harder for the Doctors to sign someone off .

Man I can be a hard bastard :kissy2

I could not agree more. The welfare system was set up as a safety net to help people fallen on hard times or folks unable to work through ill health .No a system where pople can make a lifestyle choice chust no to work

This needs real reform sooner rather than later :forry:forry

'This needs real reform sooner rather than later '

thank the wee man I am aligned wi' somebody aboot something

second thocht's ........... och, aye ok :beerjug:

I often think the doctors are too saft

or

jist want tae 'process' patients quick oot the door.

They certainly are seen tae hae their 'favourites'.

I doubt if anyone up here would notice. Nobody could understand their strange theatrical 'Scottish' accents anyway.

No-one does a worse Scots accent than a Scottish actor. :D
