Both waterproof zips on my Richa textile trousers need replacing. Any recommendations for repair shops?

Any half competent seamstress or even Gupta, sewing away in your local dry cleaner. A zip, is a zip, is a zip. You would probably need to source the correct length waterproof zip, which you’ll find online.

Failing that: Hideout Leather, who are not a million miles away, I guess.

+1 for Hideout.

They replaced the trouser leg zips on my 30 year old BKS leathers a few years ago. Great job. Give them a call.

To my mind, the idea of repairing/replacing zips rather depends on the age, condition & replacement cost of the kecks involved.

What exactly has occurred with the existing zips? Amazon/eBay have DIY repair kits for under a tenner.

At the risk of being an echo, +4 for Hideout. They replaced all of the zips on my Rukka suit and did an excellent job.

Thanks for the Hideaway recommendation. The did a great job and charged £55 per zip. Great service and quality work.
