£125 for an unbraced lash-up! Has anyone bought one?

They look better in the metal.

The chap in Paignton who builds the cafe racers uses these and I saw a few of them at his place last week. They do seem to be well made but not to my taste that's for sure.

Not exactly unbraced. Is quite well braced by the seat mounting plate that look to be about 1.5mm. Metal work will be solid bar.

The shock mounts do look a little flimsy in the pics, but in normal use probably fine

I think personaly I'd want to beef up the mounts and have some sort of brace between the two sides, making the seat pan look less of an integral part. All a bit over kill in the minilalist sence of the design. But probably safer in the long term.
