Who has the highest GS LC mileage?

Got bike back, all seems to work a treat again!

£60k service was ermmmm.
Dunno.
Will have to rummage through receipts...

In terms of things that need doing; driveshaft will require replacing, I thought they were a permanent thing but someone mentioned to think of them as just lasting longer than a chain and sprocket.
Only other things that have been issues seem to be one offs and have not had to be done again: Rear brake resevior, switch for high/low beam and now I hope, the generator.

Oh and the exhaust flap thingy - replaced with a full titanium exhaust.

Few questions everyone if that's ok

What millage has everyone been getting out of
Disks and pads

All still on the bmw extended warranties ?

And what millage have the shocks been lasting to on the higher mileage bikes? Any headlights bit the dust?

Loving the thread just stuck another 1000 on mine this week so under 17k now

12K service last Saturday, and front discs well within tolerance. Rear disc however was 4.55mm with a limit of 4.5mm  I've never changed discs on a bike in 34 years of biking.

As for pads - again fronts half worn, rear 80% worn, and I'm on my 2nd set! Crazy.

30000 rear shock.....front weeping 48000....rear pads 20000.... Front pads 20000...... Same discs still fitted........ask Redrick what he gets from tyres...:blast

now got 62590 on my march 2014 GSA, heading for Morocco next week so mileage should go up a bit more !!!!

Oooh that is some serious miles!! Hat off to you sir!
Never really kept an eye on how many miles it takes to get through pads and tyres, I just change them when they're done. Did go with the Anakees rather than the Tourance though.

Just bought a fully loaded GS on a 13 plate with 2600 miles on it, the previous owner obviously had more money than sense lol. Plenty of room to increase it.
