Just wanted to say that I would not bother with BMW servicing if they ever decided to return to Wales anyway. I am now on my 2nd 1150GSA, an SE model because I like the boxer twin engine, and the great handling. It was main dealer serviced at 9700 miles by the previous owner, and I have just had the 12000 miler done at 11800 miles at Mikes, and what a difference! Mike has worked his magic again.
No thank you BMW. I don't want you to service my bike @£90 an hour, I'll get a time served expert to do it @ £35 an hour. Yes, that is right, Mike only charges £35 an hour and uses all genuine parts.:)

Thridded :thumb

And a nice chap. His dad does my cars now as well.

Only prob is stopping him telling me how crap modern German engineering is;)

Can someone send me his contact details and as he is only 100 miles away and I would be interested in talking to him when I need a service. Check that. When the bike needs a service.

Mike's mobile is 07843528377

He's off the A48 West of the centre of Cardiff, just at the start of fairwater, close to the driving test centre.

Tell him Simon Huddart sent you, and wish him happy nuptuals!

You boys must be doing something wrong. I got a mug of coffee AND some choccy biccies. :P

Must have been my lucky day. :D

More like to keep something in your mouth to keep it busy, so you don't bang on about the poor state of the housing market and how come your always too busy to come to the meets :augie :hide :D:D

Cardiff Motorrad

Can't fault him!!! Had some new tyres fitted to the GSA, Competitively priced with the feeling that Mike cared about what he did, his Dad also makes a stunning Cuppa.

:clap

And Me :bow :clap Used Mike for last two years.

Will be booking in for service end of April, before going to Ullapool in June.

before going to Ullapool in June.

Oh Ullapool :bounce1 my memories of Ullapool :drool Speckled Hen (far too much   ) Fish Supper :oonyack and the best bit, riding the A835 from Gorstan to Ullapool, 30 miles of superb A road that is best ridden as fast as possible, but watch out for a couple of little undulations half way along, taking them unknown at 100KPH :augie:D calls for the old front end wobble which keeps you on yer toes, passed a copper going the other way with the blues and twos going, must of been busy thank goodness. :thumb2

Oh yeah thank god Mike serviced before I left!!!!!

Another +1 for Mike.

I've only owned a BMW for some 6 weeks and took it to him for the 24K mile service this week.

he's an absolute gent, knows his stuff inside out and doesn't charge the earth for a job well done. I was going to use him for the major services and do the minors myself but I've changed my mind after meeting him, he'll have it in every time :thumb

He also told me he's looking at getting a courtesy bike as well, you may have prove that your own insurance covers its use to get it but that shouldn't be a problem for most.

top Bloke :thumb2

Welcome to the site, hope it is of good use to you :thumb Are you a matelot perhaps, or an ex one like myself :beerjug:
You do of course know that the other 'Taff' will now have something else to complain about, as well as the housing slump :hide :D
