Unless their parts are cheaper.... just my worthless 2 cents
I should have been more specific...
Stay away from the Salesmen

Unless their parts are cheaper.... just my worthless 2 cents

At 7k per year you would be as well to keep the GS, its got a few good years left in it yet...we here in the republic of ireland have a tax called vrt which nearly doubles the price of cars and bikes new or secondhand so 19k the new multistrada is going to be 21k+

There are more dealers than Kearys
Maddocks, Joe Duffy and Charles Hurst up north, try them all
Is you buy for example in Joe Duffy's is your bike covered during warranty in other BMW dealers?
Sounds good to me jjhI'd hate to be the last person to sell my bike cheap just before the prices start to rise again, the surplus of bikes will dry up. Hang on to yer bike for another 12 months.
sums up my feelings on both my R100GSand my Guzzi. To me it has a value that transcends commerce....
Never!Bikes are an emotional decision rather than an economic one ...

Just out of interest, the massive tax you guys pay in Eire wouldnt it be better to come to blighty buy a Steed then ride home,or do you have to pay it if you bring stuff in?..![]()
who said bmws hold there value ?
just been to kearys in cork and decided to get a value for my bike
im still feeling weak from the shock
my bike is a 08 1200gs (new model) just two years old with 14k on clock fully loaded with all factory options available that cost me just shy of €19k when bought new
offered for it as trade in against new bike €9,200
yes €9,200
i know theres a recession on but surely not that bad
or maybe im living behind the times
