I live approximately the same distance give or take 30 miles from Southport sb`s , the dealer I bought the bike from, Allan Jefferies, Motorrad Central in Glasgow & one in Newcastle. seeing as I`ve got quite a selection to choose from who recommends which & why? I`ll be looking to get the software upgrade & the non squeal front discs too.
It`s a 6k yearly service.

cheers

Only if I get a discount, new brake discs, the fuel injection update & a jolly out on one of the demonstrators :D

Discount can only be applied after the production of a pre-approved quantity of biscuits / sweets / pies ... this must be given to the parts and service department and NOT the sales team... updates from the GT1 are as free as the day is long ... and sometimes the GT1 machine can make the day very damn long ...(stupid machine still won't play half-life) ... front disks can be changed if they are knacked ... a play on a demo is mandatory ...

try Roy Gardner hes down the southport area to top bloke :thumb

sounds good :thumb The sales team have had enough out of me & keeping the proper workers happy (nearly) always ensures a top job done :D

hi Terry, I`d prefer to keep the work done by a main dealer until the warranty runs out but will keep him in mind :thumb

I'd do the long travel to Jefferies myself. They have been brilliant.

I've heard good and bad about Southport Superbikes but nought but good about Jefferies.
