who was about yesterday ?

Hi all,

I was out n about yesterday with some mates and we started at Box Hill about 11.30, went down to Arundel and then back to Newlands corner. Lots of GSA's and GS's about and wondered if any where patrons of this fair site.

You may have seen us me and mrs brig we had a bimble from romsey to goring on sea via loomies and bury hill.We have had a great weekend so far ,its now 8.45 and its just started to rain oh well cest la vie as they say in wales

Tommygun and I had a shortish blast through the Bank Holiday nightmare that is the A27 but found peace in some egg and bacon sarnies at the wonderful Goodwood Flying Club cafe. There were a couple of GSs at Goodwood but also shed load of other bikes so we couldn't 'make' the riders.

But a run up the wonderful (and strangely deserted) A285 towards Petworth soon put a big grin on my face. I had to cut short the outing 'cause of family obligations at the hacienda but Tommygun (complete with shiny aluminium panniers) continued Londonwards via Petworth, Milford and the A3.

Going back onto the A27 was my idea of Hades because it was more jam-packed than the Tokyo underground. Impossible even to filter safely as looking in your mirrors on a Bank Holiday seems to be an optional extra.

Oh well, c'est la bloody vie.
