It would be a tight run thing between these two, but I did see Rory play live once, must have been the early eighties, in the INF hall in Hilltown.

This wee island has turned out some fair gems.

I met Gary Moore in Holywood ... (Co Down that is ) last year with his missus and his wee daughter. Apparently they played a venue there in the early Thin Lizzy days. It was right by the Fire Station. It must have meant a lot to him as he had brought the family to see it.

He was in good form and chatted for 5 minutes or so

The venue was probably the Queens hall. Saw thin Lizzy live in the Ulster Hall 1976 or 77 I think I was only a pup. Was smashing!
