Who's Jealous?

It had passed my mind but it ain't going to be easy this time round. The thing is securely locked down - two ground anchors and huge chains. Then the usual stuff (alarm, locks etc).

I do learn by my mistakes, even if some patronisers like to say otherwise.

Andy, bring it over on Thursday night and we'll get it sorted:comfort
(and I'm not taking the p*ss)

I'm speaking to Ohlins tomorrow, as I've spoke to another gs'r on advrider who says his are fitted the same as my own. If I have no luck I'll be in contact - you fitted the front before? Cheers for the offer!

Of course I was only joking about leaving a bolt out. I've been out on it today all over the place and it's been fine. It's at 20mph or so when a shudder comes through the bars.

I have snagged the throttle cable under tank, revs rising slightly when turning left, so will have all the plastics off to sort that out tomorrow.

Are you sure that your front wheel balancer weight hasn't fallen off ?

It's sorted.

I returned the dampening and preload to stock settings and the odd rumble has gone. Looks like I had the perfect feck-up settings combo between the two of them.

Throttle cable also sorted. Stuck on a bash plate from a company around Bob's place (like 50 metre down the road from his house).

It's now perfect. I just love this bike.

Cheers again for advice.

Now I'll sit in and think about not wasting the money riding it anywhere! :blast

The word is "damping"....

:blast

So would the "odd rumble" be the road surface?

:beerjug:

When I mean odd rumble I meant it was odd in that it shouldn't have been there. Wasn't the road surface; happened all over when deaccelerating. An unlucky combo between the two Ohlins...
