The Samsung i300 has a 3Gb microdrive and runs Windows Mobile.

As well as MP3s, using Windows Mobile means you can run TomTom Mobile as well which is really rather cool.

In my opinion, the Windows Mobile OS has come on leaps & bounds recently and is now extremely good. My phone of choice at the moment is an unlocked SPV C500 - small, light, v.good battery life, excellent user interface, with TomTom running on it as well as Doom :-) I think you can go up to 2Gb on a mini-SD card these days.

I'm currently trying an O2 Mini XDA S which is a full-on pocket PC with a slide out keyboard, but still quite small. It has WiFi too so web browsing and getting email is a breeze. Texting is v.quick using the keyboard too. It also uses Mini SD cards.
