I'm getting increasingly miffed at not being able to get my Canon 350D to interface with Win 7 (64 bit). I can't find a suitable WIA driver anywhere, least of all the Canon website.

I know the 350 is a few years old but surely..........theres one somewhere isn't there??

Yes, I know I can get a USB reader for a CF card - but I shouldn't have to!

Any tips out there please?

a look on the internet and found this comment.....

You need to change the camera's USB connection mode from "PC" to "Print/PTP" in camera setting menu. After that it should be recognized by Windows 7 without drivers

Not sure if that will help...

The changed worked for my 350D (ta to the poster for that tip) so have you save the images (on the camera) as raw or Jpeg (square jagged curve or smooth icon on the cameras settings) . I think it will need to be Jpeg for windows to see the images.
PS think its jpeg (could be tiff) either way its the smoother of the icons for image size.

I've got it set so it saves them in both formats but it doesn't see either... will persevere a while!
