Og,

Dont let the jovial, rotund shape nor the goatee that's badly in need of a trim fool you. :nono The man is a bona fide Tosser. :D :D :D :thumb

'Rotund shape' is only 'cos the diet ain't workin'. Nothing bad / sweet / fattening last week & I haven't lost an ounce :tears :tears

Besides which :potkettle :tosser

And my hair & beard were trimmed before I met you on Sunday, which is more than I can say for you :redbone :dabone :redbone

That was at the second sitting - as in the run in the afternoon/during week - so many runs around that we have to have two sittings !

As for the diet , I m on a sea food one - if I sea food I eat it - works great.
Seriously though you are what you eat !

Thats the one :thumb Unfortunately it works too well ;) :D

On a completely unconnected topic ;) myself, DaveR & Marcus had a short, but enjoyable run across the 'gap' last night. Starting from Old Bawn we headed up Killakee but for a change took the first right which goes all the way down to Bohernabreena Road & then back up the adjacent valley to the 'gap' road - nice roads but the amount of rubbish dumped at the side of the road was unbelieveable :spitfire lots of beds / mattresses, doors / windows, building rubble & old clothes. Dirty barstewards :mcgun :rocketwho

After a short stop by the wee lake we carried on via Sally Gap (the road down to Roundwood was still closed) to Laragh - stopping only to watch 2 deer running off up the hill - for a cuppa & a chat.

By this time darkness has fallen & this curtailed any attempts at Dave's track or Glenmalure  Marcus decided he wanted to head home via Roundwood while myself & Dave carried on over the Wicklow Gap to Hollywood where we parted.

Weather was beautiful , particularly after what we got on Monday evening :eek :eek with very few cars around except a number of parked cars with a single male occupant visible :mmmm Perhaps their girlfriends were all tired & had her head in his lap for a little snooze :nenau ;)

Next time I suggest as early a start as possible to maximise the time before dark - even with the auxillary lights a GS's light output is pretty cr@p for riding along sheep / deer infested mountain roads after dark

Aidan,
have no worries - i would only deal with Genuine Tossers... no spurious ones thank you :D
(anyhow - my politeness only lulls people into a false sense of security  :D )
