width of an air-cooled RT ?

Hi can anyone tell me the width of an 88 RT ? to get it around the back of my house it needs to fit though a 34 inch gap . i seem to thing they are 32 isn inches with the mirrors bent in ? or jackass if you go down the heli shed tomorrow. i think the fairing is the same as twinshocks ?

Just been out & looked at my RT. I have crash bars which are a wee bit wider than the pots, which in turn are wider than the fairing. Assuming you haven't got crash bars the width is about 32" without mirrors. Not easy to negotiate if the gap is any length i.e. is it just through a gate or the whole length of a house? Think you really need to try before you buy if possible.

thanks Martyn thats great , yes ive only a small gap to negotiate then its very open after that . ill just have to put the panniers on . its got crash bars too

no ive only been down to daves to have another look and start up.
i cant get it in my back garden till ive put a new larger gate on

really looking forward to getting it home and of course go for a good ride
