Its 6 months since my wife surrendered her license on medical grounds, its been a long struggle but luckily the road to recovery was almost trouble free. Today her license was returned and we managed a short run through the rain and fog to Stump cross cavern café.
I must admit I was worried more than she was, I'm told you cannot imagine having sight in one eye just by shutting one for a few minutes, its takes months to adjust. My worries were unfounded and she coped with all without a problem so the Alps and camping are back on the calendar for 2014.
Many thanks to the people who have offered encouragement over the last few years and especially Adam and Lisa who gave advise and hope when it seemed future motorcycling was an impossibility.
