Wilbers 540

I bought one a few weeks ago for my Mono. Got it from the Every accessory blokes. It's a Technoflex shock in disguise which was a little disappointing when I found that out.

Much better than a Hagon and rides well at the minute. Technoflex shocks never lasted very well though and was probably the reason behind them changing the brand name. Theres no reason why this should be any better.

I got that wrong. I bought the better quality shock. For the extra £60 it gave me the 22 stage damping and a choice of black or blue spring.

The 500 range is the eco line. The base model shocks

The 600 range adds 22 stage damping adjustment.

I had a Maxton shock on my 1150. Superb and better value than an Ohlins. I couldn't justify the expense for the Mono but would gladly pay the extra for my Paralever. I've got a Hagons fitted at the minute, one up on not having anything at all but thats it.

1st is no damping at all. 22 is rock solid. I haven't done many miles on it yet but first impressions are very good. Every Accessory were excellent to deal with. The shock took around 3.5 weeks to arrive.

Got a nice blue wilbers on mine. Works great and the range of adjustment is very big. Good shock, nice finish.:thumb

Are European prices in line with UK ones, or has the almost 10% rise in the £ v the € made European ones better value? Though speaking with someone in the UK, not having large postal charges and if there is a problem, then dealing with a UK based company will make any small savings not worth it, IMO.

I had the 641, with the remote adjuster, on my last PD. Worked a treat and as said already, a big adjustment range.
Its still with the bike and giving its new owner good service.
