Thanks.

Wilbers Custom Builds Information

Here you go:

http://www.motorcycle-suspension.co...cing_suspension/shock_absorber_bmw/index.html

This is the Wilbers site and has some insight into the type of information needed.

Recently I was asked for my weight; my pillion's weight; % of time I ride with pillion;, then add roughly 20 pounds per person if each usually wears full gear; then pannier and racks weights; a factor for full panniers; any other mounted equipment eg. toolcase, topcase; main type of riding you do eg. Touring, Sport Touring, % of time off pavement and on what type(s) of surfaces and so on.

These are the types of questions Ted Porter from the BeemerShop in California asked me when I was making my recent order. BTW don't fib and tell them you are skinnier than you are.......it doesn't help.:D

include inside leg, normal weight, all up weight, plus luggage and all that....but most importantly the overall height you need the bike to be or you can end up with a shock that's 85mm taller than the already too tall OEM standard one.....:blast

I've got a bike with a really smart wilbers shocks fitted that perfect for a wookie to rid around on...however I'm built like an bald grumpy ewok... :blast

sorry I got carried away the shock was for my HP2 and I had a rally spec one built....:blast which I thought was gonna be tougher and all that...which it is and also taller....:blast
