I have just fitted a pair of Wilbers shocks to my GSA ( 630/640 ), with the hydraulic preload adjuster for the rear.
The shocks were second hand, but the setup was very similar to what I wanted ( +- 10% ). I had no instructions, but followed a thread here for fitting, and found another one that had the initial damper rebound settings, so good so far...
My question is concerning the initial position of the hydraulic pre load adjuster. Does it come out of the box set to a mid-position, to the min ( least preload) position , or somewhere else ? Anyone recall where theirs was at before they started fettling ? I want to get all settings back to their ex-factory values, or at least as close I can.
