Has anyone tried the Wilbers 640 rear shock on the HP2 yet? I've got the bike set up with the street rims/tires and the stock shock just isn't firm enough.
Before you go blowing a load of money on a posh shock, have you tried adjusting the rear shock damping. It's the black round thing behind the schrader valve that you inflate the rear shock with, just turn it 90 degrees until it clicks, and that should firm it up.
I've got the bubble centered and I think I've got it dampened. I'll give it another try in the morning. The front feels planted; but the rear kind of moves around. Even set up as it is, the bike is fantastic. I love my Thruxton; but, the HP2 is stunning.
