Anybody have any experience with Wilbers suspension on a 1200GS?
The prices seem more reasonable than, say, Ohlins - The Wilbers suspension for the 1200GS is:
1 x WILBERS front shock absorber - Type 630 - Order No.: 630-726-00
1 x WILBERS rear shock absorber - Type 640, without reservoir - Order No.: 640-726-00
or
1 x WILBERS rear shock absorber - Type 641 with reservoir on hose or Type 642 with fixed reservoir - Order No.: 641-726-00 (reservoir on hose) - Order No.: 642-726-00 (fixed reservoir)
Option of Hydraulic preload adjustment - Order No.: 625-046-00
Can reduce the seat height about max. 80 mm.
They do:
- Sport Line blue spring, red/blue adjustments
- Classic Line black spring, silver adjustments
The reduced ride height is of interest - I wouldn't go as radical as - 80mm (I think Ohlins do - 8mm front and - 12mm rear).
Any thoughts - particularly on the quality/advantages of Wilbers and changing the ride height?
