Will a throttlemeister fit a 2003 1150GS ?

I would like to buy the throttlemeister throttle lock but unsure if the hand guard protector will interfere with it.

Has anyone fitted one of these on a 2003 1150GS?

I just bought a 2002 and the parts guy at the dealership ordered a throttlemeister for me that fis with the hand guards. He says it is different from the standard model.

Bought a Wunderlich equivalent and fitted it to my 1150. Found it very difficult to use on the move and it stuck on when the heated grips were put on. Took it back for a full refund. The dealer told me then that the heated grips are a problem with this type of throttle lock.

I've seen a thread about a 50p "O"ring between the grip and the switch assembly that seems to work on the Adventure rider site.

It seemed like a nice low cost option.
