Will Adventure shocks fit a GS?

Hi, I have a 2004 GS - will 2006 GS Adventure Shocks fit it?

I dont think it will. The adventure shock is longer so you would need to change the swing arm too. I might be wrong. Someone will correct me if i am.

I think you'll find they go straight onto your bike. However, the bike will sit higher and the centre and side stands won't work as they should, so you'd probably need to change them as well.

Thanks - is the height difference significant? Will the bike ride ok or will it just be like an Adventure? I fancy the idea of a bit of height.
