Will an Akrapovic silencer for a 1250GS fit a 2018 1200GS?

A question for the well informed-
Will the current version of the BMW Motorrad Akrapovic silencer for a 2023 1250GS fit onto a 2018 1200GS ?
Research gives mixed opinions with some saying yes, others saying the header pipes are different diameters. Has anyone done this?

I'm pretty certain the answer is yes, a 1250GS silencer will fit a 2018 1200GS. Nippy Norman is advertising an Akrapovic silencer as fitting the 1200GS from 2023 and all years of the 1250GS, same part number. And the BMW part number for the headers is the same on both bikes.

On this Akra product from Nippy Normans it is titled:

Akrapovic Titanium silencer- black edition R1200GS LC 2013 to 2018, R1250GS, R1200 Adv LC 2014 to 2018, R1250Adv.

And clearly states:

Fits:

R1200GS LC 2013 to 2018
R1250GS ALL YEARS
R1200 Adv LC 2014 to 2018
R1250Adv ALL YEARS

But searching the web, there are hugely conflicting opinions from many sources.

As above..... ive got the black akro from nippys on my 2018 1200 and also fits the 1250.
