Will it fit?

For those who followed the earlier thread on the R80 G/S in Dubai, I have finally registered (what a saga) the bike so it is know in my ownership, although still in the shop.

The Motorworks order is approaching the purchase price of the bike - yikes. Thats just to get it into a cosmetic and serviceable condition - no upgrades so it isn't going to be a cheap project. Needs a new exhaust as well which will have to wait.

Anyway point of the question is that I need new handlebar controls (including brake resevoir). I can buy a second hand a complete unit for 100GS but would just like some reasurance it will fit a R80 G/S. Can't see any reason why not myself.

Controls will be: brake mount/lever, master cylinder & hydraulic resevoir, clutch mount/lever, etc.

Any ideas?

Did you get sorted with a mudguard? I have a standard front mudguard and hand guards that I'm going to be selling.

Oh and master cylinder should fit...but well worth asking Motorworks if it is the same part

Yes, Rob would be very interested in mudguard and possible hand protectors. Do you have a price?

Kenny, I did see your exhaust threads. I want to keep the original style exhaust so not keen on the second one. Is the 45 pound exhaust original style? Do you have a photo?
