Will TT 1200GS Spotlights fit an 1150GS?

Will the TT Xenon and foglights fitted to a 1200GS fit onto an 1150GS or is the wiring different for the 1200's Canbus as opposed to normal wiring on an 1150

TT's parts catalogue lists different part no's, but the wording is the same

Maybe BTBR knows the answer

Anybody swapped their TT additional lights from their 1150 to their 1200??

I have the TT foglights on my 1200 and, from a wiring point of view, I can't see any reason why they would not fit the 1150. The only connections to the existing bike wiring are at the battery any from the existing headlight feed to the relays (such small current draw that it does not affect the CANBUS). However, I would advise that, if going this way (unless you already have the kit), it would be better to just buy the Hella Micro DE's since a lot of the kit will not fit:
- The wiring is set up for 1200 (for lengths, etc.
- The brackets fit to the front subframe (beak) and I expect will not fit the 1150
- etc.

Overall, I think you'll have more buggering about trying to make it fit than you would buying the lights and making your own brackets/wiring loom)

They'll fit no problem. Only issue may be the bracketry. The lights themselves are the same in that one live one earth and they'll work.
May have to change the connections (if there is a plug for the 12 on the end but other than that they are the same.

Yes they will . same lamps for either bike but you will need the lamp mounting bracket for the 1150 & also the bracket for the ballast box is different.
Thought they'd end up on your bike Mr B
