Yup I bought my 2009 1200 gsa from them last year they were great to deal with, and they have serviced the bike and both times my trip across the Pennines has been well worth the effort! I will be going again soon:thumb

Big D:)

I was talking to them at the bike show in Manchester last year and I said my radiator top hose was leaking. There and then they called back to the showroom and said if I rode down after the show they would fix it within the hour. They did! :thumb

I like Williams a lot. They have a heavy workload but if you book in advance they'll sort you out. It helps if you are nice to the ladies also. :augie

guys this is great to hear....admittingly i have only been there since beginning of december but the new sales manager has really made huge efforts to change the whole BMW expereince at Williams, which is partly why i love my job so much there.
you will find everyone has really jumped on board with all the new ideas and changes that have been made, and there are still many to come, larger clothing area, collection and delivery of your bike, All new bikes are ready for demo's........i actually have the new R1200GSA in my garage as we speak with 7 miles on it :thumb2
the list is ongoing..........we are very keen for all feedback, so please let us know how you find us now........forget the past as this is not the Williams of old.
now open 7 days a week please pop in for a brew and a chat, ride outs are on the cards with myself or my collegue, and if you are at a loose end this weekend, pop in for some hot food and have a look at the new range thats just arrived.
hope to see you soon
cheers

Sounds good kirk:thumb

All sounds good Kirk!

I have to say when I went last time the lady on reception even got 2 breakfasts delivered in from local shop for us. "And no there were not both for me! I had a pal with me" lol
looking forward to seeing the new set up as i was treat well last year, when i bought my 2009 1200gsa and that was after also buying a new BMW x5 from your dealership at Rochdale they to were a joy to deal with.. Well done Williams.

Big D:)

The Monday opening is good even if I am a thousand miles away in Austria :augie

The other improvements sound great. The larger clothing and accessory area is also good. Many a time there would be guys sitting around waiting for their bike while it was being serviced. A captive audience lets say and an ideal opportunity to "up sell" as they say in industry speak. They'd do well with some TT/BMW designed bling.

Food is also good for Tossers. That's a winner :D

Well impressed. Called today to get a price for 12k service. A young lady answered the phone and gave me an erection....:green gri

...oh yeh, forgot to say I got a price for a 12k service & annual service together that I won't even mention on here cos it's obscenely low :D

***new sales manager has really made huge efforts***

Well thats nice to no Kirk, i stopped going to Williams in March last year.
The reason: well lets just say that a new dealer in the area gave £3000
More for my old 1200 against a new low version.
My bike had been bought from and serviced by Williams, all my bling also.
I think i was a good customer, but they tried to shaft me:::
I must also say they were good to deal with up to that point, i had never had
a problem with them, and the girls were always nice.

So, do i take the risk again?

Hope it was the voice rather than the price... ;)

There is definitely something about her... :D

And nice to meet you Kirk! :thumb

I think the worm may be turning for Williams. I know they were 'in difficulty'...but in business as in most areas of life, attack is the best form of defence, and they seem to have found their mojo :D

i think that those from here that turned up today would not have failed to pick up on the "buzz" from the place.

Buzz is the best way to describe it - was full of enthusiastic employees, current curious owners taking a look at the new machines, and potential owners... couldn't help but notice and glad I popped in today.

Now how do I make my 07 GSA sound like that new one? ;)

Ditto...............................she served me well over the phone last year and she was very efficient:green gri

well hope its improved from last year as i waited 1 1/2 hours to talk turkey on a GSA last year got so bored after 6 coffees rode off and spend my hard earned else where:augie:augie

WTF - is english not your first language? - if you were waiting one and a half hours it may have been because the staff were busy (it happens). Just because you thought you were important and had some money to spend then it may be a good idea to actually talk to them, telepathy is still undeveloped in most humans, sometimes we have to be patient, I am not particularly patient - especially when it comes to bad customer service. I experienced it once at Williams, I spoke to someone, the problem was dealt with satisfactorily. It is really pointless coming on here and bemoaning a dealership because staff were not at your every beck and call - if you have a problem speak to them directly at the time, but to "wait" 90 minutes and then go away and then come here gloating that you spent it elsewhere is pretty cheap sniping:stopbeing
