Needed to replace the LH switch gear on my 11 plate RT. Years ago BMW did a replacement foc but this is no longer offered, so I needed to buy.

Rang round a few dealerships and independent specialists, and was assisted by Olivia on the parts dept at Williams'

Chatty, informative and helpful, she got the last one in stock in the UK for me, and at a price that was cheaper than anyone else was offering.

Most helpful, and at a price that was less painful than it could have been. Much appreciated.

Sadjim off here used to head up the parts dept there. Havnt seen or heard from him for maybe five years now.

Believe she left Booker's Preston to go to Williams , biggest mistake Bowkers made , the service there went down his drastically after she left.
She is the most informative , helpful and friendly service / parts person I have had the pleasure of dealing with and I travel from Blackpool to Manchester to get all my BMW work and accessories from there.

Mad Mechanic is referring to Olivia, who worked on the Service and Parts desk at Bowker's, Preston, before going to Williams.
You are right about Sadjim, he was at Southport Superbikes.

And who was the young lady who worked on the counter with SadJim at Southport Superbikes?l

Thank you, now you remind me it was indeed Becky
IIRC Becky moved to Bowker's when they took over Southport Superbikes, along with the chap (whose name escapes me) that used to prep new bikes in the workshop under the shop, and the owners (Mike and Roy's daughter(s)). They all left within a relatively short period.

The bloke that did PDI's was Steve and he carried on in Preston for a while.
There was another Steve who worked behind service counter with Becky but he left before the move from Southport.
Mechanics and others moved across but they've all moved on and only one from Southport still left is Stuart the delivery driver.
